Documents to prepare

• Move date, former/new municipality and address evidence requested by each recipient; keep exact personal addresses in the official application.
• Identity and any representation/guardian evidence required by that recipient; collect separate records for each household member.
• A recipient tracker: organisation, current address, submission date, reference, confirmation and unresolved follow-up.
• Existing municipal records, vehicle documents and relevant school, health or contract references, kept in your own file.

Steps in order

1. 1List everyone moving and the date; decide who may act for each person.
2. 2Arrange the new or updated padrón through the municipality and retain its result.
3. 3Check the PAG address-change service for supported recipients; record exactly which organisations accepted an update.
4. 4Review tax contact details and Social Security records separately, using the correct route for your circumstances.
5. 5Review driving/vehicle contact, health centre, school, employer, bank, insurance and contracts as applicable.
6. 6Submit each outstanding update through its official channel and record receipt and any response deadline.
7. 7Verify the address shown in each account or confirmation; leave unconfirmed recipients open.

After submitting

• Keep submission and acceptance distinct; a sent request may still require correction.
• Check that letters and bills reach the correct address and monitor pending official notifications.
• Review each family member independently; one person's change does not update everyone.
