Documents to prepare
- Accepted identity document of the licence holder; check the regional rules for passport, NIE/DNI and non-resident applicants.
- Exact waterbody, municipality, dates, species and technique for checking the annual rules.
- Application for the correct licence category, plus current fee or exemption evidence where required.
- Evidence of any additional coto, reserve or species permission; ask whether navigation needs a separate authorization.
Practical route
- Locate the actual fishing site on the regional map; your home address does not determine the fishing authority.
- Open the regional procedure below. Confirm the category, applicant conditions and whether an existing licence is recognized.
- Check the current annual order: open season, size limits, daily catch limits, allowed gear and protected species. Record the rule for this waterbody.
- Arrange coto/reserve access and any species or navigation permission before choosing a date.
- Check the current fee and exemption conditions before paying. Submit through the accepted online or office route and retain proof.
- Check the issued licence's name, category, territory and validity. A payment receipt is not automatically the issued licence.
